I worked with Simon for many years. His determination and fight to live and to live a good life and provide for his family was inspirational He did not want to be defined by his illness and wanted to be known for being a hard working family man . I have many memories of his achievements and the opportunity to be a part of his wider family . I shall certainty never forget him and will continue to share my memories of Simon . He will remain a topic of conversation by the medical teams who looked after him as one of his legacies will be that we can continue to learn from him . Rest in peace
